Establishment day ceremony at Sanganer Dadabadi

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh will organize establishment day ceremony at historic Sanganer Dadabadi on Wednesday, June 5.  Sri Jin Kushal Suri Dadabadi at Sanganer is one of the oldest dadabadi in India. Karamchand Bachchhawat, Minister in the court of Akbar the great built this Dadabadi motivated by Jin Chandra Suri the fourth Dadaguru Dev. It is worth noted that Jin Kushal Suri is the most famous among four Dadagurudev.

Sanganer is an old city and capital of Kachhawa dynasty. Kachhawa dynasty later on shifted their capital to Amber and then to Jaipur. Sanganer is now an expansion of Jaipur and the Dadabadi is situated 3 Km from Jaipur airport. There are twin temples of Lord Rishabhdev Adinath and Chandraprabhu swami situated at Sanganer town. These temples are one and half KM away from the Dadabadi. The older Rishabhdev temple is about one thousand years old and Chandraprabhu swami temple is contemporary to Dadabadi.

This is 414th anniversary of this Dadabadi. A flag will be hoisted (Dhwajarohan) in between Dadagurudev Pooja. Dadagurudev Pooja will be followed by Sadharmi vatsalya (lunch). The program will be sponsored by Smt. Kanchan Devi Lunia family. All are cordially invited.

American professor documents Jain temples in Jaipur

Brian Brazeal, Assistant Professor at California State University, Chico, US has been visiting Jaipur and documenting Jain temples. He has come here with my invitation. He is particularly filming temples managed by Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh. Professor Brazeal is accompanied by Lilian Haidar, Professional photographer and filmmaker from New York, America.

All their works are complementary to me and members of Jain community and neither of them are charging any money. They are shooting at Panchayati Mandir.

Lilian Haidar, professional photographer from New York also went to Malpura.There she made a film of Atharah Abhishek pooja being performed at the Jain temple and Dadabadi on January 5, 2012.
