परम पूज्या साध्वी श्री मनोरंजनाश्री जी, शुभंकराश्री जी विचक्षण भवन में विराजमान

परम पूज्या महत्तरा साध्वी छत्तीसगढ़ रत्न शिरोमणि स्वर्गीया श्री  मनोहरश्री जी महाराज साहब की सुशिष्या परम पूज्या साध्वी श्री मनोरंजनाश्री जी, शुभंकराश्री जी आदि ठाना 8 विचक्षण भवन में विराजमान हैं। पूज्य साध्वी वर्ग कल प्रातः आमेर श्री चंदाप्रभु भगवन के मंदिर एवं दादाबाड़ी पधारी एवं वहां एक दिन ठहर कर आज, 11 दिसम्बर सुबह यहाँ पहुंची।

इन विदूषी साध्विओं को यहाँ पा कर श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ, जयपुर में हर्षोल्लास है।  जयपुर के ही नहीं अपितु भारत के विभिन्न भागों से दर्शनार्थी यहाँ पधार कर दर्शन वंदन का लाभ ले रहे हैं। बहार से पधारने वाले अतिथिओं के आवास एवं भोजन की निशुल्क व्यवस्था संघ की और से है। सभी सधर्मी बंधुओं से दर्शन वंदन का लाभ लेने हेतु साग्रह विनती है।

Annual General meeting (AGM) on December 23

Annual General meeting (AGM)  of Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Shivjiram Bhawan. The meeting will start at 10.30 AM to discuss and pass several important issues such as annual budget, audited income and expenditure account, balance sheet and few other matters.The AGM will also appoint auditors  to audit accounts of the Sangh for the coming year.

Executive committee of the Sangh has decided  the agenda, date and time of the AGM as per constitution of Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur. Annual budget 2013-14, Audited income and expenditure account 2011-12 and balance sheet 2011-12 will be available at Shivjiram Bhawan from December 10. Hon'ble members can see these during office hours. Please provide your suggestions upto December 18.

It is very important to participate in the meeting and all the members of the Sangh are cordially invited. Pl make sure that you are participating in the meeting. Your valuable suggestions are welcome.

Kartik Poornima celebrated at Sanganer Dadabadi

 Kartik Poornima celebrated at Sanganer Dadabadi on November 28, 2012 on the auspices of PP SriVinay Muni et al. Large numbers of people joined the yearly event organized by Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur.

There was Snatra Pooja in the morning followed by Dadagurudev Pooja. Vidhikarak Yashwant Golechha and singers Annu Phophaliya and Anil Shrimalgave the Pooja a marvelous present. Jyoti Kothari informed about history of this very old Dadabadi. He told that Sri Karamchand Bachchhawat, minister in the court of Akbar the great built this Dadabadi inspired by Dada Jin Chandra Suri. It is a Dadabadi more than four centuries old.

Sri Vijay Mehta and his wife, on behalf of Khartar Gachchh Sangh felicitated Sri Ratanchand Kankaria family, sponsors of the event. Sri Shanti Kumar Golechha invited all the present to join his family next year in this event.

 PP SriVinay Muni, PP Mukti Muni, PP Sushil Muni arrived at Sanganer Dadabadi after successful and historic Chaturmas at  Khartar Gachchh Sangh. He was felicitated by the Sangh members and audience.


Pooja was followed by lunch (Sadharmi Vatsalya).

Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur had started making a gorgeous chariot in the year 1890 for procession of Lord Parasnath, 23rd Jain Tirthankar. It took a long 16 years to complete the work. The chariot was continually used in processions of Lord Parasnath in his birth day Paush Dashmi till the year 2006.

The procession used to start from Sri Suparshwanath temple (Panchayati Mandir, Gheewalon ka Rasta) to reach Sri Adinath temple, Mohanbadi passing through the roads of Johri Bazar, Badi Choupad, Ramganj Bazar and Surajpole Gate. It used to return through the same way to Panchayati temple. The procession of Paush Dashmi now starts from Mohanbadi temple to Gheewalon ka rasta but without the historic chariot on wheels.

  The chariot is a great example of Mogul Rajput school of woodcraft. It is a huge one. It has beautiful craftsmanship. Pair of wooden horses in front of the chariot looks great.

Mr. Girdharilal is a living member of the family who built and maintained the wooden chariot for more that a century.  He has provided me with four historic photographs of the legendary chariot. These photographs are taken somewhat between 1970 and 1980. We are reproducing these images here for your perusal. I hope you will admire the craftsmanship, gorgeousness and beauty of the legendary chariot in Jaipur.

Jain Research Center and University

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh have decided to start a Jain University in Jaipur. We are working on the project and a vision document is prepared. We are in process of drafting a project report. We are looking for a suitable land required to start a full fledged University.

We have already started a Jain Research Center at Sri Vichakshan Bhawan, MSB Ka Rasta, Johri Bazar. Initially we have started Jain and Prakrit language classes. Dr. Tara Daga, an eminent Prakrit scholar is appointed to take the classes. It is important to know that all Jain Agams are written in various Prakrit languages. Approximately 25 students have registered their names so far and attending the class.

We are providing scholarships to scholars pursuing their doctoral program. MS. Reena Baid is about to get her Ph.D degree. She is also working on a sponsored project on Shwetambar Jain temples in Jaipur.

Dr. Hemlata Chatar, a Ph.D in environment sciences has decided to pursue her post doctoral studies. She will work on the topic "Jainism and environment".

We also provide free food and accommodation facilities to foreign scholars visiting Jaipur working on Jainism. Large numbers of foreign scholars have visited our research center and library. It is worth mention that the Sangh has been running a Jain library that contains large numbers of Jain books.

Eminent Jain scholars likes of Sri Surendra Bothra, Dr. Sagarmal Jain, Dr. Premsuman Jain, Prof. John Cort, Prof. L. A.  Babb, Prof. Brian Brazeal, and many others are associated with us in the Jain research center.

चाकसू मेला 4 नवम्बर, रविबार को

श्री शांतिनाथ स्वामी मंदिर, चाकसू का मेला 4 नवम्बर, 2012 रविबार को आयोजित होगा। श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ के तत्वावधान में होने वाले इस मेले के लिए श्री आदिनाथ मंदिर, कटला, आगरा रोड से सुबह 6 बजे बस प्रस्थान करेगी। घाट मंदिर होते हुए ये बस खोह नागोरिआन स्थित श्री सुपार्श्वनाथ मंदिर जाएगी जहाँ पर पूजा सेवा एवं नाश्ते के पश्चात् वहां से रवाना हो कर चाकसू पहुचेगी। चाकसू में दादाबाड़ी दर्शन कर बस श्री शांतिनाथ स्वामी मंदिर आयेगी। इसी मंदिर में श्री शांतिनाथ पञ्च कल्याणक पूजा पढाई जाएगी। पूजन पश्चात् साधर्मी वात्सल्य का आयोजन रखा गया है।

 साधर्मी वात्सल्य के बाद वहां से रवाना हो कर चन्दलाई एवं बरखेडा स्थित मंदिरों के दर्शन करते हुए बस वापस लौटेगी।  सभी साधर्मी बंधुओं से कार्यक्रम में पधारने हेतु विनती है।

बस का टिकट 100/ प्रति व्यक्ति रखा गया है एवं टिकट शिवजीराम भवन में 2 नवम्बर तक उपलव्ध रहेगा।

खरतर गच्छ संघ में नवपद ओली की आराधना आज से

 खरतर गच्छ संघ में नवपद ओली की आराधना आज 21 अक्तूबर से प्रारम्भ हुई। परम पूज्य श्री विनय मुनि जी आदि ठाना 3 एवं परम पूज्या श्री सुयशा श्री जी आदि ठाना 3 की निश्रा में श्री विचक्षण भवन में आश्विन मास  की नवपद ओली की आराधना हो रही है। प्रातः 9 बजे से व्याख्यान एवं उसके बाद नवपद ओली की क्रियाएं कराइ जाती है। पुरुष एवं महिलाएं दोनों ही इस में उत्साह से भाग ले रहे हैं।

  खरतर गच्छ संघ की ओर से शिवजीराम भवन में आयम्बिल एवं निब्बिगय की सुन्दर व्यवस्था है।  नवपद ओली के अलावा इस समय कुछ लोग वर्धमान ओली एवं अन्य तपस्याएँ भी कर रहे हैं।  इस वर्ष ओली करने के लाभार्थी श्री शांतिलाल जी राजेश कुमार जी डागा परिवार हैं।
