Oxford professor at Jain Research Center, Jaipur

Dr. Imre Bangha, professor of Hindi language in prestigious Oxford university visited Jain Research Center, Jaipur. Dr. Bangha is a Hungarian and well versed in several Indian languages including Hindi and Bengali. Presently he is studying Maru-Gurjar, a preform of Hindi language existed between 13th and 16th century.

It is worth knowing that large numbers of Jain texts are written in this language. Gautam Rasa by Vinayprabhu Upadhyay of Khartar Gachchh is the most popular among all Maru-Gurjar literature.

Dr. Bangha met Sri Surendra Bothra and Jyoti Kothari of Jain Research and Study Center, Jaipur and discussed Maru-Gurjar Jain literature. He will be visiting our library at Vichakshan Bhawan tomorrow.  Jain Research and Study Center, Jaipur has been attracting foreign and indigenous researchers, scholars and academicians for their studies and researches. The center is established under Jain University project of Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur.

Jain philosophy is far ahead of modern physics

" Jain philosophy is far ahead of modern physics and has solution to many unsolved problems of modern physics", said Jyoti Kothari. He told this in the welcome address to Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi at Malpura Dadabadi.

Jyoti Kothari, was addressing Dr. Joshi, professor of physics. He told that the whole Jain canon is divided into four parts Dravyanuyoga, Charananuyoga, Kathanuyoga and Ganitanuyoga, where Dravyanuyoga is very similar to modern physics and Ganitanuyoga refers to mathematics. He told that there is a lot about uncertainty theorem of Heisenberg in Jainism. He added that a Jain canon Visheshavashyaka Bhashya describes about gravitational force, the weak interaction. The Jain canon describes it in way of space time curve. It is not only similar but beyond the modern theory of gravitational force. He urged that research and study of Visheshavashyaka Bhashya may unfold many mistries. It can answer many unsolved questions of modern physics.

Jyoti Kothari went beyond and discussed about Einstein Podolski Rozen effect on electron spindle. He told that several Jain canons likes of Bhagwati Sutra, Pannavana Sutra and Tatvartha Sutra talk about velocity of subtle sub atomic particles. These Jain canons describe velocity of these subtle particles beyond speed of light. Study of these materials may throw light on solving unsolved problems of the effect.

He insisted Jain society to start research on modern physics in the light of Jain philosophy. He requested Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi to guide this project and to motivate his students to carry out these researches.

He informed that Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur has taken an initiative to start a Jain University. Jain Research and Study Center is already established under this project.

डा मुरलीमनोहर जोशी एवं खरतर गच्छ संघ के पदाधिकारीगण

दस मार्च को दादामेले में  डा मुरलीमनोहर जोशी ने मालपुरा में दादा जिन कुशल सूरी जी के दर्शन किये. वे मालपुरा दादाबाड़ी के दर्शन हेतु चेन्नई से सीधे जयपुर पधारे एवं यहाँ से मालपुरा गये. मालपुरा दादाबाड़ी में ३ घंटे वीटा कर डा मुरलीमनोहर जोशी जयपुर के रस्ते दिल्ली पधार गये.

मालपुरा में दादा गुरुदेव के चरणों के पास बैठ कर उन्होंने काफी समय तक पूजा अर्चना एवं प्रार्थना की। इसके बाद वे वहां विराजित परम पूज्या साध्वी वृन्दो के दर्शनार्थ गए एवं उनसे मांगलिक सुना।  मेला लाभार्थी श्री सुवोध चंद बोथरा एवं जयपुर खरतर गच्छ संघ के पदाधिकारीगण उन्हें स्वागत कक्ष में ले कर गए जहाँ उनका भाव भीना स्वागत किया गया।

संघ मंत्री ज्योति कोठारी ने अपने स्वागत भाषण में कहा की डा मुरलीमनोहर जोशी पूर्व और पश्चिम के मिलन स्वरुप है। वे पाश्चात्य विद्या Physics के प्राध्यापक हैं लेकिन उनका आचरण पूरी तरह से भारतीय है. इस तरह वे गंगा जमुना संगम जैसे हैं संसदीय लोक लेखा समिति के अध्यक्ष जैसे महत्वपूर्ण पद पर रहते हुए कितना दवाव और प्रलोभन आता है इसे बताना कठिन है. उन्होंने कहा की दादा जिन कुशल सूरी के दरबार में ऐसे महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति का पधारना संघ के लिए गौरव की बात है.

डा मुरलीमनोहर जोशी ने कहा की श्रमण एवं ब्राह्मण ये दो धाराएँ हजारों वर्षों से भारत की धरती को मार्गदर्शन देती रही है. सिन्धु घटी की सभ्यता के अवशेषों में भी जैन तीर्थंकरों एवं साधको की प्रतिकृतिया मिलती है. जर्मन विद्वान हर्मन जकोबी ने जैन धर्म पर बहुत शोध किया एवं जैन दर्शन को पाश्चात्य समाज के सामने लये.

संघ के पदाधिकरिगणों ने डा जोशी का माल्यार्पण, सफा एवं शाल से स्वागत किया। उन्हें स्मृति चिन्ह के रूप में मालपुरा प्रतिष्ठा का एक चांदी का सिक्का भी भेट किया गया।

संसदीय लोक लेख समिति के अध्यक्ष एवं पूर्व केन्द्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री डा मुरली मनोहर जोशी दादामेले पर मालपुरा पधारेंगे। वे १ मार्च को मालपुरा दादाबाड़ी आयेंगे। यह पहली बार है जब मालपुरा के किसी मेले में केन्द्रीय स्टार के कोई नेता यहाँ पधार रहे हैं।

केन्द्रीय वित्त राज्य मंत्री श्री नमो नारायण मीना ने भी इस मेले में आने की स्वीकृति दी थी परन्तु विशेष कारन से उनका विदेश प्रवास निश्चित होने से उन्होंने आने में असमर्थता प्रगट की है. 

मालपुरा दादागुरु श्री जिन कुशल सूरी की प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन स्थली है. उनका स्वर्गवास स्थल देरौर पाकिस्तान में होने के कारन वहां जाना असंभव सा है. इसलिए दादा जिन कुशल सूरी का तीर्थ मालपुरा ही प्रसिद्द है एवं उनके स्वर्गवास दिवस फाल्गुन कृष्णा अमावस्या को यहाँ प्रति वर्ष दादा मेले का आयोजन होता है.

इस वर्ष यह मेला  १० - १ १  मार्च २ ० १ ३  को आयोजित हो रहा है. दस मार्च को होने वाले रात्रि जागरण कार्यक्रम में कोल्कता के प्रख्यात गायक देवेन्द्र-सुरेन्द्र बेगानी, बीकानेर के मगन कोचर एवं इंदौर के लवेश बुरड का गायन होगा.  अगले दिन दादागुरु की बड़ी पूजा लवेश बुरड पधयेङ्गे. श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ, जयपुर द्वारा आयोजित इस मेले के लाभार्थी श्री सुवोध चंद पद्मा देवी बोथरा परिवार हैं।

स्मरणीय है की श्री सुवोध जी के पिता स्वनामधन्य स्वर्गीय श्री परिचंद जी बोथरा, अजीमगंज  का यह जन्म शताब्दी वर्ष है.

जैन धर्म व समाज विषय पर व्याख्यान ३ मार्च को जवाहरनगर में

 "जैन धर्म व समाज" विषय पर व्याख्यान ३ मार्च को जवाहरनगर में होगा। डा श्रेयांश प्रसाद जैन प्रातः १०  बजे महावीर साधना केंद्र में इस विषय पर मुख्य वक्ता होँगे। डा श्रेयांश प्रसाद जैन प्रख्यात जैन विद्वान हैं। अमेरिका के एल विश्वविद्यालय की जैन शोधार्थी एलेन गफ विशेष रूप से इस व्याख्यान में उपस्थित रहेँगी।.

श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ, जयपुर के अंतर्गत जैन शोध एवं अध्ययन संस्थान एवं श्री श्वेताम्बर जैन संघ, जवाहरनगर के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में यह कार्यक्रम  आयोजित होगा.

खरतर गच्छ संघ ने गत वर्ष पञ्च परमेष्ठी विषय पर पांच रविवारीय व्याख्यानमाला आयोजित की थी जिसमे देश के प्रख्यात जैन विद्वानों ने संवंधित विषय पर व्याख्यान दिया था. उस व्याख्यानमाला में हजारों श्रोताओं ने भाग लेकर अपने ज्ञान में अभिवृद्धि की थी।  व्याख्यानमाला की अभूतपूर्व लोकप्रियता को देख कर इसे पुनः प्रारंभ करने का निर्णय लिया गया है।  इसे प्रति माह जयपुर के विभिन्न कालोनियों में करवाने की योजना है. इसमें अलग अलग विद्वानों के अलग अलग विषय पर प्रवचन होङ्गे.

सभी से कार्यक्रम में समय पर उपस्थित होने की प्रार्थना है.

Jain Research and Study Center in Jaipur taking pace

Jain Research and Study Center in Jaipur (under Jain University project) is now taking pace. Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh has set its goal to create it like Nalanda and Taksheela.

A meeting of seven members' permanent committee held recently under the Chairmanship of Dr. M L Mehta, former Chief Secretary, Rajasthan at Vichakshan Smriti Bhawan to discuss related issues. The committee has decided to appoint Dr Shiv Prasad, an eminent Jain scholar, to look after the center. It is also decided that Research Center is the first priority and Univbersity will be founded later on.

The Center will start a lecture series inviting various Jain scholars. These lectures will be held every month at different colonies of Jaipur. The first lecture will be at Mahavira sadhana kendra, Jawaharnagar on March 3, 10 AM.
