परम पूज्य जयानंद मुनि की सप्तम पुण्य तिथि पर त्रि दिवसीय समारोह


आगामी 2 से 4 अक्टुबर 2012 को परम पूज्य स्वर्गीय श्री जयानंद मुनि की सप्तम पुण्य तिथि पर त्रि दिवसीय महोत्सव का आयोजन किया गया है।  परम पूज्य स्वर्गीय श्री जयानंद मुनि मोहनलालजी महाराज के समुदाय के थे एवं इस वर्ष परम पूज्य मोहनलालजी महाराज के समुदायवर्ती परम पूज्य श्री विनय मुनि अदि ठाना 3 का चातुर्मास जयपुर खरतर गच्छ संघ में है। 

 इस समारोह में पहले दिन 2 अक्टुबर, मंगलबार को श्री विचक्षण भवन, जौहरी बाज़ार में प्रातः 9 बजे से दादा गुरुदेव की पूजा पढाई जाएगी। इसी दिन चौथे दादागुरुदेव अकबर प्रतिवोधक श्री जिन चन्द्र सूरी जी का स्वर्गारोहण दिवस भी है।

3 अक्तूबर, बुधबार को प्रातः 8.30 बजे से श्री विचक्षण भवन में ही भक्तामर महापूजन का आयोजन किया गया है। यह महापूजन अर्थ सहित पढाई जाएगी। श्री सुपार्श्व नाथ भक्तामर मंडल इस कार्य क्रम के लाभार्थी होंगे। अभी कुछ ही दिनों पूर्व संघ ने अर्थ सहित स्नात्र पूजा का आयोजन किया था जिसकी सभी ने अत्यंत सराहना की थी।

4 अक्तूबर, गुरुबार को परम पूज्य साधू साध्वी भगवंतों के साथ संघ विचक्षण भवन से प्रातः 6 बजे रवाना हो कर मोहनबाड़ी, गलता रोड पहुचेगा। वहां सर्व प्रथम श्री भक्तामर स्तोत्र का पाठ होगा। इसके पश्चात् परम पूज्य स्वर्गीय श्री जयानंद मुनि की समाधी पर श्री पार्श्वनाथ पञ्च कल्याणक पूजा पढाई जाएगी। इसी दिन श्री अनिल जी बेगानी परिवार द्वारा समाधी मंदिर पर ध्वजा भी चढ़ाई जाएगी।  मुनि श्री के गुणानुवाद कार्यक्रम में भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के अधिकारी श्री राजेंद्र भानावत मुख्य अतिथि होंगे। कार्यक्रम के बाद अल्पाहार की व्यवस्था रहेगी। 

इस त्रि- दिवसीय समारोह में जयपुर में विराजित सभी साधू साध्वी भगवंतों को आमंत्रित किया गया है। उपरोक्त तीनो कार्यक्रम श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ, जयपुर  द्वारा आयोजित किया जायेगा। सभी सधर्मी बंधू सादर आमंत्रित हैं।

Flood relief by Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur


Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh came forward to help Flood victims in Jaipur. The Sangh has played its role in flood relief. Major rainfall occurred in Jaipur in the midnight of August 21-22. It rained cats and dogs. Six inches of rainfall came as a nightmare for many Jaipurites. Several died and injured. Large numbers of people lost their homes.  News of disastrous rainfall started coming from the early morning, 22nd.

Jyoti Kothari, secretary of the Sangh got the news opening TV set early in the morning. He immediately contacted the city administration offering any kind of help. Sri B L Soni, Police commissioner, Jaipur asked him to distribute food packets among the victims. He promptly contacted Sangh trustees and other sister organizations. Sri Jain Yuva Parishad, Sri Jin Kushal Yuva Manch and Sri Gyan Vichakshan Mahila Mandal, youth and women organizations of Khartar Gachchh Sangh came forward to help. The Sangh could manage preparing food for flood victims with their extended cooperation. Several other people extended monetary support to the Sangh for this noble cause.

Sri Surendra Rotagan, chief editor, Good Morning India took his car to distribute food packets. He along with Jyoti Kothari distributed thousands of food packets among the flood victims of Jaipur. The flood relief was performed in the Ramganj, Galta Gate, Kotwali, Nahargarh and Shastrinagar Thana area with the help of police administration. Relief work was carried out till late night of 22nd and it was continued to the next day.

Paryushana Parva observed in Jaipur Khartar Sangh

Paryushana Parva, the highest Jain spiritual event observed in Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur between August 14 and 21 in the lunar month of Bhadra Pad Pratham. Paryushana Parva was observed in the auspices of Jain monks PP Sri Vinay Muni, Mukti Muni and Sushil Muni at Shivjiram Bhawan and in the auspices of Jain nuns PP Sri Suyasha Sri and Prerna Sri at Sri Mahavir Swami temple, Tonk Fatak premises.

Sri Surendra Golechha, eminent industrialist hoisted the flag on the first day, August 14 at 9 AM. He was accompanied by Sri Kamal Chand Surana, reputed Jeweler as guest in chief. Girls of Sri Veer Balika school played band to welcome them. Trustees of Khartar Sangh felicitated both the guests. The event was followed by Manglacharan of Sri Gyan Vichakshan Mahila Mandal and Sri Jain Navyuvak Mandal. PP Sri Sushil Muni delivered pravachan on Ashtanhika for about one and half hours after that.

Pravachan on Sri Kalpasutra, the sacred Jain Agam started from the third day, August 16. There was a Ratri Jagaran of Pustakji at Shivjirm Bhawan organized by Sri Jain Yuva Parishad. A beautiful "Jhanki" of Tirthankar Parmatma beneath a snake was center of attraction of the devotional songs night.

Fifth day of the Paryushan has great significance. It is observed as the day of Janma Vachan. There was "Swapnavtaran" (14 auspicious dreams of Trishala, mother of Lord Mahavira) ceremony before the Janma Vachan. Jaipur Sangh celebrated the event with great enthusiasm in presence of more than two thousand people. Laddu and Panjiri was distributed among the devotees.

Ratri Bhakti was organized at Shivjiram Bhawan in front of beautiful Jhanki of Lord Mahavira. Live white pigeons created great attraction among audience. Devotional songs sang by Annu-Anil pair. Sri Rajiv Dasot, Additional Director General, Rajasthan Police adorned the chair as chief guest of the program sponsored by Suklecha family.

Sri Gyan Vichakshan Mahila Mandal presented cultural night on the next day. Dr. Mahendra Singh Daga, Chairman, Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry was the guest in chief. Mrs. Vimala Jharchur presided over the ceremony. Dr. Sushma Singhvi, Chairperson, Rajasthan Sanskrit academy, was also present as special guest.

The last day of Paryushan Parva was observed as Samvatsari. The original text of Kalpasutra was recited in the morning hours. Jyoti Kothari, secretary, Khartar Sangh presented annual report.

A great procession composed of elephants, horses and musical band moved from Shivjiram Bhawan to visit all Jain Shwetambar temples in the walled city. Devotees pay their homage to all six Jain temples and completed their annual ritual "Chaitya Paripati".

Samvatsari Pratikraman and Kshamapana (Divine forgiveness) were the final events of Paryushan Parva.

The Sangh specially invited a professional Angi performer. He decorated the idols at Panchayati temple with beautiful ornaments. There were different Angi every day during all eight days of Paryushan. Ratri Bhakti performed in temples during the Paryushan. People performed Pratikraman on all eight days. There was arrangement of Ekashana in the Sangh Bhawan.

Similar program were organized at Sri Mahavir Swami temple, Tonk Phatak in the auspices of PP Sadhvi Sri Suyasha Sri and Prerna Sri. Sadhvi Suyasha sri is known for her austerity and penance. She was performing 51 days' Ayambil for her Vardhaman Tap. Her "Parna" took place at Tonk Phatak premises on the next day of Samvatsari.

Sadhu Parmeshthi: The perfect equanimity


 "Sadhu Parmeshthi lives in a state of perfect equanimity" said Dr. Dharam Chand Jain, Professor, Jay Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. He was speaking at Shivjiram Bhawan on the last day of Panch Parmesthi lecture series organized by Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur. He described all 27 attributes of Sadhu Parmeshthi in details. He told that Sadhu (Jain monks and nuns) are icons of Ahimsa. 

The lecture was preceeded by "Sri Navkar Mahapoojan". 

 The event was organized on the auspices of PP Vinay Muni, Mukti Muni and Sushil Muni; and PP Sadhvi Suyasha Sri and Prerna Sri on Sunday, August 5, 2012.

Sri D R Mehta, former Chairman, SEBI told that the Jain community has been doing a lot to serve the humankind. He said, " Please come forward to do more to serve the humanity". It was his first public address after receiving Rajeev Gandhi Sadbhavna award. 

Sri Siddharth Dudhoria, grandson of Raja Bijay Singh was present as guest in chief along with his wife Mrs Sangita Dudhoria. 

Sri Padam Chand Nahta, former president, Akhil Bharatiya Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Mahasangh presided over the ceremony.

 Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur felicitated all the guests along with the sponsors Sri Ashulal Babulal Dosi family.

Upadhyay Parmeshthi: The moving university



"Upadhyay Parmeshthi is the moving university or a moving library", said Sri Jai Kumar Baid, President, Mahakaushal Murtipoojak Sangh, Raipur. He was presiding dignity of the fourth day in Panch Parmesthi lecture series organized by Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur.

"Sri Gautam Swami Mahapoojan" was organized before the lecture series. Large numbers of devotees took part in this Mahapoojan to pay their tribute to Gandhar Sri Gautam Swami. 

Dr. Prem Suman Jain, former professor and head of the Prakrit department, Mohanlal Sukhadia university delivered key note speech and described twenty five attributes of Upadhyay Parmeshthi in details.

Dr. Mrs. Saroj Jain, an eminent Prakrit and Apabhransha scholar emphasized on the importance of manuscript study. She told that knowledge of all Upadhyay Parmesthi is preserved in Manuscripts.

Dr. Imre Banga, Professor, Oxford University, UK told that there are large numbers of texts written by Jain monks in Maru-Gurjar language. It is worth noted that he is conducting research about Maru-Gurjar language.

Acharya Parmesthi have 36 virtues



Dr.  Sagarmal Jain, Director, Prachya Vidyapeeth, Sajapur, told that  Acharya Parmesthi have 36 virtues  He was speaking in Panch Parmesthi worship and lecture series Sunday, July 22 at Shivjiram Bhawan, Johri Bazar, Jaipur. It was the third day of the lecture series. 
Shri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur has been organizing Panch Parmesthi worship and lecture series (Five Sundays) at Shivjiram Bhawan, between July 8 and August 5.

  More than a thousand and five hundred people attended Acharya Parmesthi on July 22, Sunday (Day 3). The event started with Sankatmochak Dadaguru Mahapoojan. Vidhikarak Yaswant Golechha performed all rituals.The Pooja was followed by the lecture of Eminent Jain scholar Dr. Sagarmal Jain  describing importance and significance of Acharya Parmesthi, the highest authority among monks and nuns in Jainism. His scholarly lecture especially targeted to the young generation spell bound the audience. 

Dr. Jain told that the Acharya has 36 virtues (Attributes). These are rare qualities. Acharya have different "Sampada" likes of  Gyan Sampada (Virtue of knowledge and wisdom). He is head of the all Sangh. He represents Tirthankar (Arihant) in his absence.  
Sri Vimal Mahamwal, President, Panchayati Mandir, Kolkata was the chief guest of the event. He also spoke about Acharya Pad. Hon'ble Justice Manish Bhandari, Rajasthan High court, delivered a scholarly lecture in his presidential address. 

Sri Manak Chand Golechha, President, Khartar Gachchh Sangh felicitated Dr. Sagarmal Jain before his lecture. Executive members and office bearers of the Sangh felicitated Shantilal Daga family, sponsors of the event. Justice Manish Bhandari and Sri Vimal Mahamwal were also felicitated.
"Namo Ayariyanam" was the Mantra of the day. People participated in chanting Mantra with enthusiasm.About fifty of the audience did "Ekasana Tap" this day.

The event was organized on the auspices of PP Vinay Muni, Mukti Muni and Sushil Muni; and PP Sadhvi Suyasha Sri and Prerna Sri.  Sri Shantilal Kanta Devi Rajesh Kumar Daga family had sponsored the event. The program was followed by Sadharmi Vatsalya (lunch).
