Life Time Achievement Award to Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar


Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur is glad to announce "Khartar Ratna Sanman"  Life Time Achievement Award to Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar to honor his scholarly contributions throughout his life time. . Award ceremony will be held at Sri Rajmal Surana Atithi Bhavan, Mohanbadi, Galta road, Jaipur on his 85th birthday, Sunday, October, 13, 2013.

Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar is a great Jain scholar. He had several scholarly works in his account. He has especially mastered Sanskrit and Prakrit, ancient oriental languages and Jain history. He has been awarded with several academic awards and prizes. Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur has pride that he is an honorable life member of the Sangh. 

His scholarly contribution will be reaching a further milestone on that day while his 100th book will be released. Hindi translation of old Prakrit literature "Kuvalaymala" published by Prakrit Bharati academy  and Hindi translation of Jain canon "Acharang Sutra" published by Nakoda Teerth will be released on that day. 

PP Mahopadhyay Sri Lalitprabh Sagar Ji, Chandraprabh Sagar Ji and Shantipriya Sagar ji Maharaj will grace the occasion with their auspicious presence. Mr. Brijkishaor Sharma, Hon'ble Education Minister, Rajasthan will be the Chief guest and Mr. Amritlal Jain, Chairman, Nakoda Teerth Pedhi will grace the occasion as special guest. Padmabhushan D R Mehta, former Chairman, SEBI will adorn the chair as President. 

Several distinguished Jain scholars and academicians from all parts of India will also join the Award ceremony. The Award ceremony will be followed by Sadharmi Vatsalya (Lunch). All Jain fellows are cordially invited to Join the event.

It is worth noted that the Sangh has initiated Jain Research and Study Center recently and honoring Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar will be a step in promoting Jain scholarship.

Mahasangh President visited Shivjiram Bhawan


Sri Rikhab Chand Jharchur, newly elected President of Khartar Gachchh Mahasangh visited Shivjiram Bhawan on March 17th, 2013. Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur felicitated him on his arrival to Jaipur.

Sangh President Sri Manak Chand Golechha, Secretary Jyoti Kothari, Tresurer Mohanchand Daga and several other trustees were present in the ceremony. Jyoti Kothari welcome him and the President garlanded.  Several important matters regarding Khartar Gachchh were discussed in the meeting. Mr. Jharchur told that the issue of Ajmer Dadabadi is his top priority. He expressed his deep concern about the matter and seek advice to resolve the problem. Jyoti Kothari extended hands of cooperation and told that Jaipur Sangh is with Mahasangh in resolving the issue.

Jyoti Kothari, Secretary then took him to Mohanbadi where he shew Mr. Jharchur newly built state of the art Dharamshala building and other new constructions. Mahasangh president admired the whole new construction and told that this is the best constructed Dharamshala under any Khartargachchh Sangh.  Mahasangh president also visited Vichakshan Smriti Bhawan at teen Moorti circle, another Dharmshala run by Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur.

Paush Dasmi: Janma Kalyanak of Lord Parasnath


Paush Dasmi, Janma Kalyanak of Lord Parasnath will be celebrated on January 7, 2013. Parasnath is the 23rd Jain Tirthankar succeeded by Lord Mahavira . Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur will organize several events on the day.

Parshwanath Panch Kalyanak Pooja will be organized at Sanwalia Parasnath temple at Mohanbadi in the morning. Dwaja-flag will be hoisted on the spire of the temple during the Pooja. " Ksheer Prasad" will be distributed to the devotees after Pooja and a great procession will proceed from Mohanbadi, Galta road.

This is the only and oldest Shwetambar Jain procession in Jaipur. It will be decorated with elephants accompanied by horses and musical band. The procession will reach Sri Suparshwanath Swami temple at Dada Gheewalon ka rasta, via Ramganj, Badi choupad and Johri Bazar in the evening followed by Samuhik Aarati.

All are invited in the events.

Paush dashami (Parasnath Janma Kalyanak) celebrated


 Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh celebrated Paush (Posh) dasami, Janma Kalyanak of Lord Parasnath with full enthusiasm. The Sangh organized Parshwanath Panch Kalyanak puja at Mohanbadi Adinath-Sanwalia Parasnath temple. This temple is established more than two centuries ago. The Puja was followed by Ksheer prasad.


A grand procession (Barghoda-Julush) started from Mohanbadi after Ksheer prasad that included an elephant, several horses and a band. Large numbers of devotees walk through the road. The procession reached to Sri Suparshwanath Jain temple (Panchayati Mandir, Dada) passing through Ramganj choupad, Badi Choupad, Johari Bazar. KGB ka rasta, Shivjiram Bhawan et al. Devotees offered their homage to the 23rd Tirthankar idol in the Palanquin (Palki). Jain devotees were carrying the Palanquin on their shoulders. They were singing devotional songs and dancing.

The procession ended at Panchayati temple and Arati was carried out.

Parasnath Jayanti, Paush Dashmi celebration, December 20

  Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh Jaipur will celebrate Parasnath Janma Kalyanak  on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Parshwanath panch Kalyanak Puja will be organized at Mohanbadi, Galta road, Jaipur starting from 12 noon. Refreshment (Prasad) will be served after Puja folowed by a procession (3.30 PM) from Mohanbadi to Panchayati Mandir, Dada, Gheewalon ka rasta.

Paush Dashmi celebration is an old tradition of Jaipur Swetambar Jain community and people participate in the procession with great enthusiasm. Procession will pass through Ramganj, Badi Choupad and  Johari Bazar. There will be Arati at Sri Suparshwanath Swami Temple (Panchayati Mandir) at about 5 PM.

Inauguration of newly built Dharamshala at Mohanbadi, Jaipur by Dr. Basant Vijay ji

Yativarya Dr. Basant Vijay ji (Basant Guruji) inaugurated newly built Dharamshala at Mohanbadi, Jaipur on October 9 morning in a grand ceremony. Sri jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur has built this palacious Air Conditioned  Dharamshala. It is a five floored building with a built up area of 60,000 sq. ft. There is a huge lawn in front of the Dharamshala.

Sri Manak Chand Golechha, Sangh president felicitated Dr. Basant Vijay ji after inauguration.  He blessed every one chanting few mantras. Pravartini sadhwi Sri Chandraprabha Sri ji,

Pravartini sadhwi Sri Chanda ji and sadhwi Upendrayasha sri ji were also present to bless the occasion. Vice president Sri Rajendra Chhajed, secretary Jyoti Kothari and other executive members of the Sangh felicitated members of Surana family, main donators. Smt. Jatan Bai Golechha, former president of the Sangh graced this occasion with her presence.

Inauguration ceremony was followed by a grand Parshwa Padmavati pujan. More than eight hundred pairs participated in the puja sponsored by Sri Chandraprakash Prakashchand Lodha family. Yativarya Dr. Basant Vijay ji (Basant Guruji) conducted the puja.

Mohanbadi Jain temple, Jaipur: Foundation stone on January 31st

Foundation stone (Shilanyas) of Mohanbadi Jain temple, Jaipur will be laid on January 31st, 2011. Program will be started at 8 AM. Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur is organizing the program in the auspices of Sadhwi Maniprabha Sri Ji et al.

Transportation facilities will be available free of cost from various locations of Jaipur a 7 AM to Mohanbadi. Surendra Guru ji, Bangaluru will conduct all rituals along with Yashwant Golechha, Jaipur. Total nine numbers of foundaion stones will be laid by nine families of Jaipur. Kushalchand, Vimal Chand, Prakash Chand, Kamal Chand, Paras Chand Surana family has the opportunity to laid the first stone. Jatan Kanwar Vikram Kumar Golechha will sponsor the second and the Bordia family the third. An anonimous person has sponsored the fourth Shila. Fifth to ninth Shila are sponsored by Punamchand Chhajed, Prakashchand Chhajed, remchand Dhandhia and Mahgveer Daga families. The ninth Shila (Foundation Stone) is co sponsored by Vimalchand Bhandari and Santoshchand Jharchur families.

Navkarsi (Breakfast) of that day will be sponsored by Trilokchand Singhi family.

परम पूज्य जयानंद मुनि के समाधि का वार्षिकोत्सव एवं ध्वजा का कार्यक्रम १७ जनवरी को

परम पूज्य  जयानंद  मुनि के समाधि का वार्षिकोत्सव एवं ध्वजा का कार्यक्रम १७ जनवरी को प्रातः संपन्न होगा. इस उपलक्ष्य में उनकी मोहनबाड़ी स्थित समाधी पर प्रातः ९ बजे से पार्श्वनाथ पञ्च कल्याणक पूजा पढाई जाएगी. पूजा के पश्चात् शिखर पर ध्वजा चढ़ाई जाएगी. श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजक है.  पूज्या मणिप्रभा श्री जी महाराज की सानिध्यता में यह कार्यक्रम होगा. विधिकारक श्री प्रेमचंद श्रीश्रीमाल सम्पूर्ण कार्यक्रम करवाएंगे.


पूजा के पश्चात् स्वल्पाहार के लाभार्थी श्री सुपार्श्वनाथ भक्तामर मंडल होंगे.  सभी साधर्मी बंधुओं से पूजा में पधारने हेतु विनती है.

मोहनबाड़ी में नए मंदिर का शिलान्यास ३१ जनवरी को

मोहनबाड़ी में नए मंदिर का शिलान्यास ३१ जनवरी की सुबह होने जा रहा है. यह नया मंदिर अत्यंत विशाल एवं भव्य बनवाने की योजना है. इस नवीन मंदिर के लिए सामान्य जन साधारण में विशेष उत्साह का वातावरण है. खरतर गच्छ संघ के पूर्व अध्यक्ष श्री कुशल चंद जी सुराना मंदिर निर्माण समिति के संयोजक हैं एवं पूर्व वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष श्री विमल चंद जी सुराना सह संयोजक होंगे. कार्यकारिणी समिति के अध्यक्ष, संघ मंत्री एवं कोषाध्यक्ष मंदिर निर्माण समिति में पदेन सदस्य होंगे. इसके अलावा इस समिति में १० और सदस्य भी होंगे.

इस प्रस्तावित मंदिर का शिलान्यास  कार्यक्रम प्रातः ८ बजे से रहेगा एवं ९ शिलाओं के ९ लाभार्थी होंगे. बंगालुरू से श्री सुरेन्द्र गुरूजी विधि विधान हेतु पधारेंगे. स्थानीय विधि कारक गण भी उनके साथ होंगे.

विभिन्न कालोनियों से सुबह सात बजे निःशुल्क बसों की व्यवस्था रहेगी. जोहरी बाज़ार से भी बसों की व्यवस्था की गई है. इन्ही बसों से वापसी की भी व्यवस्था रहेगी. उस दिन सुबह की नवकारसी का लाभ श्री त्रिलोक चंद जी सिंघी परिवार ने लिया है.

शिलान्यास के पश्चात् समता मूर्ति प्रवर्तिनी  स्वर्गीया श्री विचक्षण श्री जी महाराज की समाधी का द्वारोद्घाटन भी होगा. इस समाधी मंदिर का अभी सौन्दर्यीकरण किया जा रहा है.

यह सम्पूर्ण कार्यक्रम पूज्य मणिप्रभा श्री जी निर्मला श्री जी महाराज आदि की निश्रा में संपन्न होगा.  समारोह कार्यक्रम के संयोजक संघ के सांस्कृतिक मंत्री श्री राजेंद्र जी भंसाली एवं सह संयोजक श्री प्रवीण जी लोढा होंगे.

Everybody is well known of the fact that the Sangh is in process of building a grand and unique Jain temple at its Mohanbadi premises. We are continually thinking of an unique design and working on it. Mr. Varun Sen, a renowned architect is our architect for this project.

Sompura, (Architects of temples) are basic designers of temples as present tradition. They have made few designs. We are puting those designs (Plans and elevations).

Paush Dasami festival in Mohanbadi on December 30, 2010

Paush Dasami festival will be observed in Mohanbadi on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Paush Dasami is the birth day or Janma Kalyanak of Lord Parasnath, twenty third Tirthankar. Purushadaniya Parshwanath swami was born in Varanasi some 2900 years back.


Parshwanath Panch Kalyanak Puja will be conducted in Sanwalia Parasnath temple at Mohanbadi at 1.00 PM in the afternoon. The puja will be followed by a procession which will include elephants, horses, musical band. The devotees will carry lord Parasnath on their shoulders in a palenqueen (Palki). The procession will start at 3.30 PM from Mohanbadi, Galta Road and will reach Sri Suparshwanath Jain temple (Panchayati Mandir) at Dada market, Gheewalon ka rasta, Johari Bazar, Jaipur, passing through Surajpole gate, Ramganj Choupad,  Badi Choupad.and Johari Bazar.

There will be a ceremonial "Arati" at Panchayati mandir on the eve of reaching procession (Julush / Barghoda).

Khartar Gachchh Sangh AGM approves building new temples

Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur held on December 19, Sunday at Vichakshan Smriti Bhawan at 10.30 AM. Audited report of previous year account and budget for the next year proposed by the executive committee has been approved as it is by the general body. General body has also appointed auditors for the coming year.

Members of the general body discussed a lot on the topic of building new temples in Mohanbadi and Nathmal Ji Ka Katla after the routine discussions. General body approved construction of a grand new Jain temple in Mohanbadi and appointed Sri Kushal Chand Surana as convener of the same. Sri Vimal Chand Surana is appointed as Deputy convener of the temple project. Sri Kumarpal V Shah, Dholka has been appointed as "Margadarshak" (Advisor).

General body has also approved project of reconstruction of Adinath temple at Nathmal Ji Ka Katla, Agra Road, Jaipur along with a Dadabadi and Dharmshala.

Unique and Grand new Jain temple in Jaipur



Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, November 28, 2010

Khartar Gachchh Sangh of Jaipur have decided to build and develop an Unique and Grand new  Jain temple at Mohanbadi in Jaipur. Executive committee of the Sangh have decided to build an unique temple of Lord Rishabhdev, Adinath.

Sri Kushal Chand Surana, former President of Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur is convener and Sri Vimal Chand Surana is a member of construction committee of the Jain temple. Construction of the temple will be guided by Pranimitra Sri Kumarpal V Shah, Dholka.

"Bhumipujan" ceremony of the Jain temple will be held on December 8, 2010 on the auspices of sadhwi Sri Maniprabha Sri Ji Maharaj. Mrs. Amar Kumari Surana will conduct the Bhumipujan.

Mohanbadi is situated in Delhi - Mumbai highway near Galta. Several other temples, Dadabadi and Samadhi  situated in Mohanbadi makes it a center of pilgrimage. A Dharamshala with State of art facilities is being build in Mohanbadi for convenience of he pilgrims.

Executive committee of Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur meets today at Shivji Ram Bhawan

The executive committee of Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur meets today at Shivji Ram Bhawan. Shivji Ram Bhawan is the official H.O. of the Khartar Gachchh Sangh.

The executive committee will discuss on several important issues including accounts, budget, book bank, Malpura Dadabadi etc. It will also discuss establishment and building of a new temple at Mohanbadi during the session.

The executive committee will also decide date for Annual Genaral Meeting (AGM) to be called to pass the budget 2011-12.

प्.पू. जयानंद मुनि की पंचम पुण्य तिथि आज मोहनबाड़ी, गलता रोड, जयपुर में समारोह पूर्वक मनाई गई. इस अवसर पर प्. पू. साध्वी श्री विद्युत् प्रभा श्री जी, हेमप्रज्ञा श्री जी, संयम निधि श्री जी आदि साध्वी मंडल श्रावक श्राविकाओं के साथ प्रातः ६ बजे शिवजी राम भवन से विहार कर मोहनबाड़ी  पहुंची. वहां पर सर्व प्रथम भक्तामर स्तोत्र व गुरु इकतिसा का पाठ किया गया. फिर नाश्ते के बाद सिद्धचक्र महापूजन प्रारंभ हुआ.  विधि कारक प्रेम चाँद श्रीश्रीमाल ने विधि पूर्वक महापूजन संपन्न करवाया. श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ के वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष श्री मानक चाँद गोलेछा, उपाध्यक्ष श्री राजेंद्र कुमार छाजेड, संघ मंत्री श्री ज्योति कुमार कोठारी, कोषाध्यक्ष श्री मोहन लाल डागा, मंदिर दादाबाड़ी मंत्री श्री पदम् चाँद गोलेछा, सांस्कृतिक मंत्री श्री राजेंद्र कुमार भंसाली आदि पदाधिकारियों के साथ ही श्री कुशल चंद सुराना, श्री विमल चंद सुराना आदि अनेक गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने कार्य क्रम में भाग लिया.

इस अवसर पर जयानंद भक्ति मंडल के भक्तों ने भी भक्ति का रंग जमाया. श्री धीरज कुमार अतुल कुमार पारख की और से   प्.पू. जयानंद मुनि की तस्वीर लोगों को भेट की गई. पाली के भंसाली परिवार ने पूजा करवाने का लाभ लिया.


कार्यक्रम के बाद साधर्मी वात्सल्य का आयोजन किया गया.

5th death anniversary of Param Pujya Jayanand Muni will be observed at his Samadhi Mandir at Mohanbadi, Galta road, Jaipur on Monday, 27th September, 2010.

Pujya Sadhwi Mandal will reach at Mohanbadi in the morning. Bhaktamar Stotra path will be followed by breakfast. Siddhachakra Mahapujan is the main program of the day followed by a lunch (Sadharmi Vatsalya).

Mohanbadi Swetambar Jain Temple, Dadabadi and Samadhi Mandir

Mohanbadi is one of the historical Swetambar Jain religious place in Jaipur situated between Surajpole gate and Galta at Surajpole road, Jaipur. The premises is managed by Shri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur.

Sri Sanwalia Parasnath Temple and Dadabadi were built in the 18h century. We are in process of collecting and publishing history of this Jain heritage site.

There are black colored stone idol of Sanwalia Parasnath and a white marble feet print of Lord Rishabhdev, the Adinath along with some other idols and Dada Jin Kushal Suri feet print. The temple is an explicit example of Mogul- Rajput school of architecture with beautiful wall paintings.

An old Dadabadi along with Shantivijay Suri Guru Mandir are also situated in this premises in the left side of the Parasnath temple.

Funeral ceremonials of Jain monks and nuns (Sadhu / Sadhwi) are used to take place at Mohanbadi since centuries. Samadhi Mandir of several Jain saints such as Shivji Ram Ji Maharaj, Pujya Jayanand muni, Pujya Punya Sri Ji Maharaj, Samata Murti Sri Vichakshan Sri ji Maharaj and Agam Jyoti Pravartini Sri Sajjan Sri ji Maharaj are built inside the premises.

Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur is building a five floored air conditioned Dharamshala with all modern amenities at Mohanbadi premises.
