List of Khartar Gachchh Dadabadi

Preparing list of Khartar Gachchh Dadabadi

Dadagurudevs are reverend Jain saints famous worldwide. There are four Dadaguru Dev Sri Jin Dutt Suri, Sri Manidhari Jin Chandra, Suri Sri Jin Kushal Suri and Sri Jin Chandra Suri belonging to Khartar Gahcchh of Jain Shwetambar. People worship them with great devotion. Temple like places to worship Dadagurudev is called Dadabadi. Dadabadis are treasures of rich heritage.

Ajmer, Mehrouli (Delhi), Malpura and Bilada are the four main Dadabadis representimg 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Dadagurudevs respectively.

There are many other Dadabadis are spread India wide. Akhil Bharatiya Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Mahasangh have decided to prepare a list of all such Dadabadis.Mahasangh has requested JainResearch and Study Center managed by Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur to prepare the list.  

Hence, we have started preparing the list. Please inform us about Jain dadabadi wherever it may be with its name, address, telephone and fax numbers, E-mail address, contact persons etc. It will be a great contribution towards Jain community. It will be better if you can provide photographs, establishment date or year etc.  Please provide us with as much information as you can.


This list may take a shape of directory that will immensely help pilgrims, tourists and all Jain people at large.

Jaipur- Malpura march demanding Railway


 Shri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized foot march from Jaipur to Malpura demanding demanding Railway in Malpura. 150 people marched for four days. Brijkishor Sharma, education and religious affairs minister, Government of Rajasthan, shown green flag at Vichakshan Smriti Bhawan to start the march at 7.30 AM, March 22.  Shri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur felicitated all the walkers before the march.

Political leaders likes of Kailash Bhansali, MLA, Jodhpur, Ravindra Singh Bohra, MLA, Dholpur, Kalicharan Sarraf, MLA Jaipur, Sunil Kothari, State secretary, Rajsthan BJP, Bhagwat Kochar, general secretary, Jaipur congress party, Nirmal Nahata, corporator, Jaipur were also present in the ceremony along with prominent dignitories such as Kushal Chand Surana, Vimal Chand Surana, Prakash Lodha and Sangh President Manak Chand Golechha.

Jyoti Kothari, secretary, Khartar gachchh Sangh told that he met Pavan Bansal, Railway Minister on January 19 and demanded Railway in Malpura.  He, after this had a meeting with Namo Narain Meena, Union minister of state, finance representing the same. He also talked to Adhir Choudhury, Railway state minister and wrote to Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister, Rajasthan. He added that the central government has announced Ajmer-Tonk- Sawai Madhopur railway line. However, central government would pay only 50% of the cost. He urged state government to declare their share of fifty percent.

Brijkishor Sharma, minister Rajasthan told that he would inform the message to Hon'ble Chief Minister. He also told that he would do his best for the Jain pilgrimage center Malpura.  It is worth noted that Malpura in Rajsthan district Tonk is famous for Jin Kushal Suri Dadabadi.

All the walkers then proceeded to Sanganer Dadabadi where Dadagurudev Pooja was organized. Mohanlal Gupta, MLA Jaipur and Chandraj Singhvi, National secretary, JD(U) were present there.

The march reached Malpura on 25th night via Rainwal, Harsulia, Fagi, Nimeda, Chosla and Diggi. There was warm welcome   by local people and political leaders of Malpura at Vyas Chowk, main square at Malpura. The walkers then moved to Malpura Dadabadi, their final destination.

Khartar Sangh also organized a rally from Malpura Dadabadi to SDM office via Gandhi park. Large numbers of local people attended the rally. Jyoti Kothari handed over memorandum to Malpura SDM. The three fold demand was addressed to Pavan Bansal, Ashok Gehlot and Namo Narain Meena.

 Main demands:
1. Include Malpura in proposed Ajmer-Tonk- Sawai Madhopur railway line.
2. State government of Rajasthan announce their share in the proposed railway.
3. Start railway between Jaipur and Malpura.

Sadhvi Sudarshana Sri Ji left for her heavenly abode

Sadhvi Sudarshana Sri Ji, disciple of late Pravartini sri Vichakshan Sri Ji left for her heavenly abode today (March 24, 2012) morning at 7.10 AM at Dadabadi, Moti Doongri Road, Jaipur. She had been suffering from severe illness since last nine months. Thousands of devotees offered their homage to the reverend sadhvi sri. Several Sangh such as Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur; Shrimal Sabha, Multan Sabha,  Tapa Gachchh Sangh, Sanghs of Jawaharnagar, Malviyanagar, Shyamnagar, Mansarovar paid their homage by putting "Kambli" on her. Sri Rikhab Jharchur, Vice-President Akhil Bharatiya Khartar Gachchh Mahasangh also paid his homage coming from Mumbai.

This was sad end of her 70 years journey in the planet. She was born and brought up in Multan (presently in Pakistan) and came India after division. She was initiated at her early age (14) at Palitana and observed her "Charitra" for 56 long years. She remained tranquil during all her illness. She used to say that her teacher lived life of equanimity and she was trying to follow her footsteps.

Two of her elder sisters, Sadhwi Sri Chandrakala Sri Ji and sadhwi Sri Sulochana Sri ji are also living life of nuns. Presently they are in Malpura dadabadi.

Dead body of Sadhvi Sri Sudarshana Sri ji was taken with a procession comprising elephants, horses, musical bands and singers. Thousands of men and women took part in her last procession. Her earthly body was finally taken to Adarshnagar Mokshdham for funeral. Several renowned people including Mr. Arun Chaturvedi, President, BJP (Rajasthan) took part in the funeral along with people from the different segments of the society.

Mundane relatives of Sadvi ji ignited her "Chita" and her earthly body met with five elements.Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur; Shrimal Sabha and Multan Sabha will jointly organize her "Gunanuvad Sabha" at Dadabadi, Moti Doongri tomorrow March 25, 2012, Sunday between 9 and 10 AM.

Kartik Purnima celebrated at historic Sanganer temple and Dadabadi


Shri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh celebrated the Kartik Punam festival at twin temples and dadabadi in Sanganer on November 10, 2011. There was Samuhik Snatra Puja at Adinath (Rishabhdev) temple in the morning hours followed by Dadaguru Pakshal puja at dadabadi. Badi puja of Dadagurudev was started at 10 AM. Devotees were singing and dancing to pay homage to Dadaguru.

The Sangh felicitated Sri Lakshimal Gautamchand Bothra's family (Padmavati group) for sponsoring the whole program. Sri Gautamraj Bhansali, IG, Jaipur, also attended the program, and Khartar Gachchh Sangh also felicitated him.

Sri Ratanchand Kankaria declared his sponsorship for the Kartik Purnima festival next year.
Jyoti Kothari, secretary of Khartar Sangh, announced that the Chaitri Purnima fair will be held at the Twin Temple campus in May. He also announced the Sangh's employment program on Saturday, November 12.

Sadharmi Vatsalya was organized for all the devotees.

Pratishtha at Sanganer temple and Dadabadi

 Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized Pratishtha ceremony at Sanganer twin temples and Dadabadi. Idols of Sri Chandraprabhu and other Tirthankars were re established in Chandaprabhu temple. Idols of Yaksh and Yakshini were also established there in the consoles of Rangamandap.

Idols of Yaksh and Yakshini were also established in the older Adinath Swetambar Jain temple similarly.

There was an idol of Sri Shantinath, 16th Jain Tirthankar placed behind the Dadaguru Charan (Foot print) at Sanganer Dadabadi. The idol has been established in a separate sanctum. There was a Pratishtha of Nakoda Bhairav too. There was a celebration of establishment day of Dadabadi, first time in its 413 years old history.

The Sangh organized three days celebration on the occasion.

 Param Pujya Sadhwi Sri Maniprabha Sri Ji Maharaj will leave Shivjiram Bhawan 7 AM tomorrow February 8. She will move to Dadabadi via Multan Mandir and will stay there for the whole day. She will go to Pungalia jain temple, station road on 9th and to Aradhna Bhawan, Shyamnagar on 10th.

Pujya Sadhwi Ji will come to Sangaer Dadabadi on 11th and will start for Malpura on 12th. Pujya sadhwiji will accompanied by all but 4 of her disciples. Four of her disciples will stay in Shivjiram Bhawan, Jaipur till April.

PP Maniprabha Sri ji Maharaj came to Jaipur in May 2010 and stayed for Chaturmas in Malpura Dadabadi. 9 of her disciples stayed in Jaipur. She came back from Malpura to Jaipur and had been staying here since December.

Shilanyas of Adinath Jain temple has been accompolished under her auspices on January 31, 2011.

Atharah Abhishek in Malpura

Sri Jain Sweatambar Murtipujak Sangh, Jaipur branch will organize Atharah Abhishek pujan in Malpura in the auspices of Sadhwi Sri Chandrakala Sri Ji and Sadhwi Sri Maniprabha Sri Ji et al.. The program will be organized in Sri Vasupujya Swami temple, Jin Kushal Suri Dadabadi and Ambika Devi temple.

Approximately 50 to 60 members of Murtipujak Sangh will  leave Jaipur tomorrow evening and stay in Malpura on the 13th night. Atharah Abhishek will be done on 14th morning.

Sadhwi Sri Chandrakala Sri Ji and Sadhwi Sri Maniprabha Sri Ji will leave Malpura on 21st November, Kartik Purnima to attend Pratishtha in Kekdi.

Kumarpal V Shah and Pramod Jain "Bhaya" visited Malpura Dadabadi

Pranimitra Sri Kumarpal V Shah and Pramod Jain  "Bhaya", PWD minister in Rajasthan visited Malpura Dadabadi. Both of them reached Malpura on 22nd October, stayed there in the night and left 23rd morning.

Sri Kumarpal V Shah is a renowned name among Jain communities. He is a preacher, social worker and a religious person.

Pramod Jain, PWD minister in Rajasthan is a devotee of Dadaguru dev and Malpura Dadabadi.

Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh will organizes Atharah Abhishek at Sri Chandaprabhu Jain temple, Amber and Dadabadi for cleaning and purification of the idols and foot prints tomorrow morning Saturday, October 9, 2010.

Vidhikarak Prem Chand Shrishrimal will perform all rituals.

Atharah Abhishek Puja will be followed by Dadaguru Dev Puja in the Dadabadi, Amber. Both of  these program is being organized on the previous day of Amer mela (Sunday, October 10, 2010)
