Khartar Gachh Sangh election 2013

General election of Sri  Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013. General members, both life and temporary members of Khartar Gachchh Sangh will vote to elect 26 members for executive committee.

53 members filled up nomination form up to the last date December 7 and 49 forms were found valid. 4 forms were found invalid. Election officer Sri Ajeet Lunia has declared the list of aspirants (candidates).

Candidates can withdraw their name till 4 PM, December 12, 2013. Final list of candidates will be published by the election officer on December 14 after withdrawals.

Voters will vote on December 22 to elect 26 executive members from the aspirants.

All valid members are requested to vote and elect executive members.

खरतर गच्छ संघ की वार्षिक साधारण सभा संपन्न

श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ, जयपुर  की वार्षिक साधारण सभा २४ नवम्बर २०१३ को शिवजीराम भवन में संपन्न हुई. संघ के अध्यक्ष महोदय जयपुर से बाहर होने के कारण उपाध्यक्ष श्री राजेन्द्र जी छाजेड़ कि अध्यक्षता में सभा प्रारम्भ हुई.  इस वार्षिक साधारण सभा में सर्व प्रथम संघमंत्री द्वारा गत सभा कि कार्यवाही पढ़ कर सुनाई गई जिसे सर्वसम्मति से पारित किया गया। खरतर गच्छ संघ के गत वर्ष २०१२-१३ का अंकेक्षित तलपट पेश किया गया. इसी के साथ आगामी वर्ष २०१४-१५ का कार्यकारिणी समिति द्वारा पारित बजट भी प्रस्तुत किया गया. उपस्थित सदस्यों ने दोनों ही विषय पर चर्चा कर इसे सर्वसम्मति से स्वीकृत किया।

इसके साथ ही आगामी वर्ष के लिए ऑडिटर कि भी नियुक्ति कि गई  एवं उनकी फीस तय करने का कार्यकारिणी को अधिकार दिया गया.

तत्पश्चात अन्य विषय के अंतर्गत आगामी चुनाव कि तिथि को लेकर चर्चा हुई.  एक सदस्य का मत था कि २२ दिसम्बर को जयपुर ज्वेलरी शो भी रहेगा अतः मतदान कि तिथि बदली जाये। इस पर संघ मंत्री ने विस्तार से बताया कि अन्य तिथि में चुनाव कराना व्यवहारिक नहीं है एवं उसमे और भी ज्यादा दिक्कत होगी। उन्होंने ये भी बताया कि ज्वेलरी शो चार दिनों तक चलता है एवं सामान्यतः लोग ११ बजे के बाद ही शो में जाते हैं. मतदान ९ बजे से प्रारम्भ हो जाता है अतः कोई भी सदस्य मतदान कर भी शो में जा सकता है. उपस्थित सभी सदस्यों ने इस बात का समर्थन किया एवं सर्वसम्मति से चुनाव तिथि २२ दिसम्बर को ही रखने का निर्णय लिया गया.

कुछ अन्य विषयों पर भी चर्चा हुई. तब संघ मंत्री ज्योति कोठारि ने कहा कि वर्त्तमान कार्यकारिणी का यह अंतिम साधारण सभा है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस वर्ष श्वेताम्बर- दिगंबर संतों का एक साथ चातुर्मास करना संघ कि ऐतिहासिक उपलव्धि रही.

उन्होंने याद दिलाया कि सवाई माधोपुर- मालपुरा- अजमेर रेलवे लाइन कि जो स्वीकृति संघ के प्रयासों से केंद्र एवं राज्य सरकार द्वारा प्राप्त हुई है उस कार्यवाही को और आगे बढ़ाया जाये एवं सर्कार में प्रयास किया जाए जिससे इस रेलवे का काम शीघ्र प्रारम्भ हो सके.

गत साधारण सभा ने जैन शोध एवं अध्ययन संस्थान कि जो स्वीकृति दी थी उसे ऐतिहासिक कदम बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि इस दिशा में प्रगति हुई है एवं संघ के सभी सदस्यों के प्रयास से यह भविष्य में विश्वविद्यालय का रूप ले सकेगा।

उन्होंने सभी सदस्यों को कार्यकाल के दौरान दिए गए सहयोग के लिए धन्यवाद दिया। तब उपस्थित सदस्यों ने वर्त्तमान कार्यकारिणी द्वारा किये गए सराहनीय कार्यों के लिए वर्त्तमान कार्यकारिणी कि प्रशंसा कि एवं
सर्वसम्मति से उनके लिए धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव पारित किया।

अंत में अध्यक्ष महोदय को धन्यवाद के साथ सभा विसर्जित कि गई.

Khartar Ratna Sanman to Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh felicitated Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar with Khartar Ratna Sanman at Mohanbadi premises on October 13, Sunday. The event started with Mangalacharan of PP Mahopadhyay Chandraprabh Sagar and Shantipriya Sagar.

Sri Brijkishor Sharma, Education minister, Rajasthan government was the chief guest and Amritlal Jain, Chairman, Nakoda Parswanath Teerth was special guest. Padmabhushan D R Mehta, ex Chairman SEBI adorned the chair as President.  M L Mehta, former Chief secretary, Rajasthan, Justice Panachand Jain, Rakesh Sharma, former Director, Akashvani were among distinguished guests.

Renowned Jain scholar Dr Kamal Chand Sogani and Prakrit scholar Tara Daga described about achievements of Vinay Sagar.

Dr K L Jain, Hon. Secretary, Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Sanjay Bafna, former secretary AICC; Dr D S Bhandari, Vimal Chand Surana, Manak Kala, Lalit Nahta, Delhi were among other distinguished speakers.

Manak Chand Golechha, President and other trustees of Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh felicitated Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar with Shawl and turban. Dr Shivprasad, renowned Jain historian read out the Abhinandan Patra and PP Chandraprabh Sagar handed it over to Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar.

Padmabhushan D R Mehta released ‘Kuvalaymala’ hundredth book of Vinaysagar. Jyoti Kothari, Secretary, Khartar Gachchh Sangh was Master of ceremony (Manch Sanchalan) and delivered vote of thanks.

Amer Mela celebrated in Jaipur

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized Amber Mela celebrating Nandishwar Dweep Poojan at Chandaprabhu temple, Amber on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Members of all sects of Shwetambar Jain had joined this event with enthusiasm. 

 PP Mahopadhyay Lalitprabh Sagar Ji - Chandraprabh Sagar Ji- Shantipriya Sagar Ji Maharaj Sahab started from Shivjiram Bhavan at morning 5.30 with several laymen and women and reached Amer. There was arrangement of breakfast for all foot walkers. 

 Nandishwar Dweep Poojan was followed by Ashta Prakari Pooja of Sri Chandraprabh Swami, the main deity and other deities. Upadhyay Shivchandra, a nineteenth century Khartar ascetic and scholar has composed the Pooja two centuries before at this temple only. Tradition of Pooja is being followed since then. An old replica of Nandishwar Dweep made of wood was brought out for the celebration. There are 52 temples in this replica. 

  As everyone knows Amber Mela at Sri Chandaprabhu temple is symbol of Shwetambar Jain unity in Jaipur. The centuries old tradition is going on till date. Distinguised persons likes of Navratan Kothari, Chairman KGK group, Sumer Chand Bothra, Secretary, Subodh Shiksha Samity, Mahendra Singh Daga and K L Jain, Chairman and Secretary of Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry respectively joined the ceremony this year along with many other important personalities. Mahendra Singh Daga and K L Jain also hoisted the flag (Dhwajarohan) at the spire of the temple.

The Pooja was followed by Sadhrmi Vatsalya (Lunch) attended by several thousands members of Shwetambar Jain community.

Life Time Achievement Award to Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur is glad to announce "Khartar Ratna Sanman"  Life Time Achievement Award to Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar to honor his scholarly contributions throughout his life time. . Award ceremony will be held at Sri Rajmal Surana Atithi Bhavan, Mohanbadi, Galta road, Jaipur on his 85th birthday, Sunday, October, 13, 2013.

Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar is a great Jain scholar. He had several scholarly works in his account. He has especially mastered Sanskrit and Prakrit, ancient oriental languages and Jain history. He has been awarded with several academic awards and prizes. Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur has pride that he is an honorable life member of the Sangh. 

His scholarly contribution will be reaching a further milestone on that day while his 100th book will be released. Hindi translation of old Prakrit literature "Kuvalaymala" published by Prakrit Bharati academy  and Hindi translation of Jain canon "Acharang Sutra" published by Nakoda Teerth will be released on that day. 

PP Mahopadhyay Sri Lalitprabh Sagar Ji, Chandraprabh Sagar Ji and Shantipriya Sagar ji Maharaj will grace the occasion with their auspicious presence. Mr. Brijkishaor Sharma, Hon'ble Education Minister, Rajasthan will be the Chief guest and Mr. Amritlal Jain, Chairman, Nakoda Teerth Pedhi will grace the occasion as special guest. Padmabhushan D R Mehta, former Chairman, SEBI will adorn the chair as President. 

Several distinguished Jain scholars and academicians from all parts of India will also join the Award ceremony. The Award ceremony will be followed by Sadharmi Vatsalya (Lunch). All Jain fellows are cordially invited to Join the event.

It is worth noted that the Sangh has initiated Jain Research and Study Center recently and honoring Mahopadhyay Vinaysagar will be a step in promoting Jain scholarship.

Nandishwar Dweep Poojan at Chandaprabhu temple, Amber

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur will organize traditional Nandishwar Dweep Poojan at Chandaprabhu temple, Amber on Sunday, October 6, 2013. The Chandraprabh Swami Jain Shwetambar temple is an old temple established centuries before. Amber was the capital of Kachhawa dynasty at that time which was shifted to Jaipur at the time of Sawai Jai Singh.

Nandishwar Dweep is the eighth island where only gods and no man can go, according to Jain canons. There are 52 eternal temples of Tirthankara where gods celebrate events of birth etc of the Lords. The island is significant in Jain religious practices and rituals. Nandishwar Dweep Poojan is a historical event at Amber temple being organized for centuries.

All four sects of Shwetambar Jain Khartar Gachchh, Tapagachchh, Sthanakvasi and Terapanth used to join this event commonly known as Amer Mela. Amer Mela is symbol of Shwetambar Jain unity in Jaipur. The centuries old tradition is going on. We have put special efforts this year to invite more and more people from all sects of Swetambar Jain to restrengthen Jain unity. 

Nandishwar Dweep Poojan will be started at 9 AM followed by Sadharmi Vatsalya. PP Mahopadhyay Lalitprabh - Chandraprabh- Shantipriya Sagar Ji Maharaj Sahab will proceed to Amber from Shivjiram Bhavan at morning 6 o clock with laymen and women. There will be arrangement of breakfast for all Padyatri.

We hope that at least three to four thousand Jain will join the event at Amber. You are cordially invited to join the Amber Mela.

खोह एवं आमेर मेला २०१३

खोह एवं आमेर मेला २०१३ 

श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतर गच्छ संघ, जयपुर प्रति वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी खोह एवं आमेर मे मेल आयोजित करने जा रहा है.  यह मेले क्रमशः रविवार, २९ सितम्बर २०१३ एवं  ६ अक्तूबर २०१३, रविवार, को आयोजित किया जाएगा।

खोह नागोरियन जयपुर की प्राचीनतम राजधानी है जो की वर्त्तमान शहर से लगभग ५ की मी की दूरी पर स्थित है।  यहाँ श्री सुपार्श्वनाथ भगवान् का प्राचीन मंदिर स्थित है. यह मनोरम, सुरम्य वादियों से घिरा हुआ स्थल अत्यंत मनमोहक है. कछावा वंश का प्राचीन राजमहल यहाँ मंदिर के पास ही पहाड़ी के ऊपर वसा हुआ है. इस मंदिर में सम्मत शिखर तीर्थ का एक विशाल प्राचीन पत् बना हुआ है. यह अपने तर का एक मात्र तीर्थ पत् है जिसमे सभी टूकों की पूजा की जा सकती है.

रविवार, २९ सितम्बर प्रातः काल यहाँ भगवान् की पूजा पढ़ाई जाएगी एवं ध्वजारोहण भी होगा। इसके पश्चात् सधर्मी वात्सल्य का आयोजन रहेगा।

इसी प्रकार आमेर भी जयपुर की प्राचीन राजधानी रही है एवं यहाँ पर श्री चन्द्रप्रभ स्वामी भगवन के प्राचीन मंदिर में नन्दीश्वर द्वीप की पूजा पढ़ाई जायेगी। यह पूजा पिछले कई सौ वर्षों से यहाँ होती आई है. नन्दीश्वर द्वीप की सुन्दर कलाकृति युक्त काष्ठमय रचना बनी हुई है जिसमे अरिहंत परमात्मा की ५२ मूर्तियाँ विराजमान कर यह पूजा की जाती है. यह जयपुर जैन समाज का प्राचीनतम मेल है जिसमे श्वेताम्बर समुदाय के सभी वर्ग मूर्तिपूजक, स्थानकवासी, तेरापंथ आदि सभी भाग लेते हैं.

 ६ अक्तूबर २०१३, रविवार, को आयोजित होने वाले इस मेले में पूजा, ध्वजारोहण भी होग. कार्यक्रम के पश्चात साधर्मी वात्सल्य का आयोजन किया गया है.

उपरोक्त दोनों मेले प् पू महोपाध्याय ललितप्रभ सागर- चन्द्रप्रभ सागर जी महाराज की निश्रा में संपन्न होगा। सभी साधर्मी वन्धुओं से लाभ लेने की विनती है.

Mediclaim Health insurance for Jaipur Khartar members

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur has been facilitating Mediclaim for their members. It is well known fact that medical bills are expensive nowadays and large numbers of people can not afford it. Common people find themselves helpless when hospitalized for major illness. Mediclaim (Health insurance) is one stop solution for medical bills.

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur has initiated unique project to facilitate their members who can not afford health insurance. Members, who do not have a health insurance can apply for their mediclaim. One has to pay only Rs. 500/ and rest of the amount will be paid by the Sangh. The member or his family will have a health insurance covering Rs. one lakh. It will be a cashless facility and most of the major hospitals in Jaipur (and India) are covered under this scheme.

Jain festival Paryushan observed with great enthusiasm

Jain festival Paryushan has been observed with great enthusiasm at Shivjiram Bhavan, Jaipur between September 2 to 9, 2013. Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized the event in the auspices of great orator saints PP Mahopadhyay Lalitprabh - Chandraprabh Sagar Ji Maharaj Sahab. Digambar Jain Muni Tarunsagar Ji Maharaj had also graced the occasion with his presence. It happened first time in the history that a Digambar Jain ascetic has delivered his speech in Swetambar Paryushan showing Jain unity. PP Suresh Muni Ji Maharaj of Terapanth Sangh also joined the event.

Thousands of spectators listened to Pravachan of great orator saints PP Mahopadhyay Lalitprabh - Chandraprabh Sagar Ji Maharaj Sahab every day during Paryushan. 14 auspicious dreams of Trishala Mata were brought forth on the occasion of Janma Vanchan. There were Bhakti Sandhya on the eve of Pustak Ji and Janam. A play about Rishabhdev was also organized during cultural night.

PP Lalitprabh Sagar Ji Maharaj Sahab chanted the whole Kalpasutra (Barsa Sutra) in the morning session on Samvatsari (September 9, 2013). Chaitya Paripati was followed by the Vanchan. All laymen and laywomen (Shravak- Shravika) participated in Samvatsarik Pratikraman in the evening and observed the holy event of forgiveness.

Here's why it's important:

This is an important petition for Jain community. Please support this.

Jain is an independent religion. Population of the community in India is less than 2 percent of total population. Indian constitution allows minority status for a religious community with less than 20% population. Several states likes of UP, MP, Bihar, Jharkhand and recently Punjab have declared religious minority status for Jain.

Sri Ashok Gehlot, Chief minister of Rajasthan himself told in a public meeting that he desires to provide minority status for Jain. However, it is not yet been declared.

Jain is a peaceful community and contributes major share in National GDP. They have lion's share in social and charitable work. The community is demanding minority status to save their social organizations and religious institutions.

Jain unity in Paryushan at Shivjiram Bhavan, Jaipur

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur is pioneering Jain unity in observing Paryushan this year 2013. PP Mahopadhyay Sri Lalitprabh Sagar Ji, Chandraprabh Sagar Ji and Shantipriya Sagar ji Maharaj.are observing their chaturmas under the banner of Khartar Sangh. They have been delivering their discourses at SMS ground since July 21 along with Digambar Jain saint Tarunsagarji Maharaj. This is the best effort made by anyone at any place for Jain unity.

Khartar Gachchh Sangh is further extending the agenda of Jain unity by inviting other Shwetambar and Digambar Jain ascetics during holy festival of Paryushan 2013 being organized between September 2 to 9, Digambar Jain saint Tarunsagarji Maharaj has already consented to join the festival at Shivji Ram Bhavan, HQ of the Sangh. He will be here on the first and last day of Paryushan. 

Another Digambar Jain ascetic Balacharya Sri Siddhasen Ji Maharaj pupil of Acharya Sri Bahubali ji Maharaj will join us on September 4 and 5 along with two Aryika  Mataji (female ascetics). Sri Suresh Muni, Swetambar Jain Terapanth sect, will bless the Paryushan at Shivjiram Bhavan on September 3. Poojya Sadhvi Sri Narendra Sri Ji Maharaj of Tapagachchh has consented to join us on September 6. We are in touch with few other Jain ascetics observing Chaturmas in Jaipur to invite them in Paryushan 2013 this year. 

We wish more and more Jain ascetics from different Jain sects will join us on Paryushan showing Jain unity, the very purpose of the whole program. Paryushan is the festival of forgiveness which increases compassionate love among all creatures. Jain ascetics are symbol of Kshama and Karuna. Hence, uniting Jain saints together will definitely propagate love and compassion in the whole world.  

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur has been putting efforts towards Jain unity during Paryushan and during the whole Chaturmas this year. We hope, other Sanghs in India and worldwide will join the campaign and work for Jain unity. We also believe that Jain ascetics, Poojya Acharya, Upadhyay, Sadhu and Sadhvi Ji maharaj belonging to all Jain sects can play a vital role in propagating Jain unity. It will further strengthen our religious, spiritual and social status.  

Let us hope for the best in this Paryushan and Chaturmas.

Parushan at Shivjiram Bhavan from September 2 to 9

 Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachh Sangh, Jaipur has been organizing Paryushan between September 2 to 9, 2013 under the auspieces of PP Mahopadhyay Sri Lalitprabh Sagar Ji, Chandraprabh Sagar Ji Maharaj. 
Digambar Jain Muni Tarunsagar ji Maharaj and many other Swetambar and Digambar Jain ascetics will also come to Shivjiram Bhavan showing Jain unity. 

Smt. Nirmala Poongalia will hoist flag on 2nd morning to start the program. Sri Manak Ji Kala, convener, Samagr Jain Chaturmas Samiti will be the guest in chief. Ashtanhika Pravachan will be delivered that morning and the next day. Sri Jain Yuva Parishad will organize a devotional song night on 4th on the eve of Pustakji. Swapnavataran (14 dreams of mother Trishala) and Janma Vanchan will be on September 6.  There will be Ratri Jagaran on that night sponsored by Sri Kushal Chand Vimal Chand Prakash Chand Surana. Samvatsari will be celebrated on September 9 with Mool Kalpasutra Vanchan, Chaitya Paripati and Samvatsarik Pratikraman. 


Sri Lalitprabh Sagar Ji and Chandraprabh Sagar Ji are great orators and thousands of people are enjoying their discourses at SMS Investment ground since July 21. It will be a great experience for all devotees to listen Kalpasutra, great Jain canon from them.

शिवजीराम भवन में २ से ९ सितम्बर २०१३ तक प् पू  स्व आचार्य श्री कान्तिसागर सुरिश्वर जी म सा के सुशिष्य प् पू  राष्ट्रसंत महोपाध्याय श्री ललितप्रभ सागर जी  म सा, प् पू  श्री चन्द्रप्रभ सागर जी  म सा,  प् पू  श्री शांतिप्रिय सागर जी  म सा के सान्निध्य  में पर्युषण पर्व की आराधना होगी। इस अवसर पर दिगंबर जैन मुनि  प् पू  श्री तरुणसागर जी  म सा भी पधारेंगे।

इस वर्ष श्री जैन श्वेताम्बर खरतरगच्छ संघ, जयपुर ने ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाते हुए श्वेताम्बर- दिगंबर जैन संतों का एक साथ प्रवेश एवं एक मंच पर २१ जुलाई से १ सितम्बर तक प्रवचन का कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। समग्र जैन समाज के ध्वज तले यह कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुआ.  जैन एकता के इस ऐतिहासिक कार्यक्रम की सर्वत्र सराहना हुई है एवं देश भर के मीडिया ने इसे प्रमुखता से स्थान  दिया है. उपरोक्त चारों जैन साधुओं की निश्रा में ही यह संभव हो पाया।

पर्युषण के प्रथम दिन २ सितम्बर को श्रीमती निर्मला जी पूंगलिया झंडारोहन कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ करेंगी। मुख्य अतिथि समग्र जैन चातुर्मास समिति के संयोजक श्री मानक जी काला होङ्गे. ३ सितम्बर को रात्रि में पुस्तक जी का जागरण होगा जिसके लाभार्थी श्री जैन युवा परिषद् होंगे। ४ तारीख को पुस्तक जी का जुलुश  आएगा उसी दिन द्वितीय दादागुरु मणिधारी श्री जिन चन्द्र सूरी का स्वर्गारोहण दिवस मनाया जाएगा।  ५ सितम्बर को श्रीमद देवचंद जी जयंती मनाई जायेगी व सायंकाल पाक्षिक प्रतिक्रमण होगा। त्रिशला माता के चौदह स्वप्नों को ६ सितम्बर सुबह उतारा जाएगा तत्पश्चात जन्म वांचन होगा। रात्रि में पालना जी का जागरण होगा जिसके लाभार्थी श्री कुशल चंद जी विमल चंद जी प्रकाश चंद जी सुराना होंगे।  ७ तारीख की साम श्री ज्ञान विचक्षण महिला मंडल द्वारा सांस्कृतिक संध्या आयोजित होगी होगी। ९ तारीख को मूल कल्पसूत्र का वांचन एवं चैत्य परिपाटी निकली जाएगी।

 पर्युषण पर्व में प्रथम दो दिन अस्टान्हिका एवं बाद के पांच दिन कल्पसूत्र का हिंदी में वांचन होगा।  प्रति दिन सुबह साम प्रतिक्रमण एवं  क्रियाएं यथा अवसर आयोजित होंगे। बाहर से पधारने वाले यात्रिओं के ठहरने एवं भोजन की समुचित व्यवस्था है.

प् पू  राष्ट्रसंत महोपाध्याय श्री ललितप्रभ सागर जी  म सा, प् पू  श्री चन्द्रप्रभ सागर जी  म सा विशिष्ट कोटि के प्रवचनकार हैं जिनकी सभा में हजारों लोग प्रति दिन श्रोता के रूप में उपस्थित रहते हैं. आप लोगों का पर्युषण प्रवचन जन जन के आकर्षण का केंद्र होगा।

Prof Subhash Jain IOWA university visited Jain research Center

Prof Subhash Jain retired from  IOWA university, USA visited Jain research and study Center run by Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur. He visited the center on August 10, 2013, Saturday.

Prof Subhash Jain was teaching Engineering at IOWA University and started studying Jainism after retirement. Presently he is studying Jain Karma doctrine and interfacing Karma doctrine in modern context. This is a herculean task as Jain philosophy has huge texts about the same. Both Shwetambar and Digambar communities produced large canons about Karma.

Most popular among all Shwetambar texts are Karma Granth part 1 to 6 by Devendra Suri where as most popular Digambar texts are from Gommatsara. There are large volumes in other Jain texts such as fifth Agam Bhagwati Sutra (Vyakhya Prajnyapti), Vipaka Sutra, Kammapayadi etc. Prof Jain has been studying all these to describe in modern context.

There are illustrations of several canons and texts including that of Vipaka Sutra and Tatvartha Sutra. Large numbers of Acharya, ascetics and other scholars wrote large volumes describing complete methodologies. Jainism has explicitly and critically documented almost everything about Karma doctrine.

Prof Subhash Jain has visited Jain research and study Center, Jaipur to see books in the library and to discuss issues with scholars. He stayed here for about four hours discussing Karma doctrine. He also delivered a lecture on the same topic on Friday at Prakrit Bharti academy.

List of Dadabadi in India

List of Dadabadi in India

Four Dadagurudevas, namely Jin Dutt Suri, Manidhari Jin Chandra Suri, Jin Kushal Suri and Sri  Jin Chandra Suri are great Acharyas of Shwetambar Jain community belonging to Khartar Gachchh sect. Devotees have built Dadabadis of these Dadagurudevas to show gratitude towards the reverends and to worship them. There are thousands of Dadabadis spread all over India. These are treasure of our rich heritage. However, there is no data base about these Dadabadis available till date.

Akhil Bharatiya Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachh Mahasangh  has decided to create a list of Jain Dadabadis in India and requested Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur to implement this project. We are in process of developing Dadabadi list and requesting everyone to provide relevant information. We have written a blog post earlier about the same.

Mobile app for Malpura live Aarati has been launched by Sri Rikhabchand Jharchur, Mahasangh President on August 4, 2013 at Malpura. Everybody knows that this era is an Information technology age and all organizations need IT support to propagate their activities. Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur is a large organization performing religious and social activities. This is a live and active organization and its activities require global exposure. 


Sri Jin Kushal Suri Dadabadi, Malpura is a famous pilgrimage center renowned worldwide. Large numbers of devotees visit Malpura to pay homage to reverend Dadagurudev. They are keen in Dadaguru Aarati. This Android app will facilitate them viewing Dadaguru Arati staying at their own place. 

This Android application developed for mobile phones is at tasting faze and require your suggestions to improve it. It may not be compatible with several mobile devices as different devices have different configurations. We are trying to make it compatible with maximum numbers of devices. You know, we are developing an ecology park to bring awareness about environment at Sri Jin Kushal Suri Dadabadi premises at Malpura. Office bearers and executives of Akhil Bharatiya Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh visited Malpura along with representatives of various other Khartar Sangh from India wide to participate in Amrit Manthan Sabha (August 3 and 4, 2013). All these representatives participated in plantation program at ecology park. This was a great event towards environmental awareness.

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur hosted Khartar Gachh Mahasangh conference (Amrit Manthan Sabha) at Malpura Dadabadi on August 3 and 4, 2013. Representatives from different parts of India attended the conference and discussed on various relevant issues regarding Khartar Gachchh and role of Mahasangh.

Earlier, Akhil Bharatiya Sri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachh Mahasangh showed their intention to organize a Chintan Shivir to initiate thought process about several current issues. Rikhab Chand Jharchur, Maqhasangh President discussed about the event and hosting the conference. Khartar Sangh, Jaipur promptly consented to host this at Malpura Dadabadi.

Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur arranged for food, accommodation, conference hall and other necessary facilities for representatives joining from all over India. Office- bearers and ex office bearers, executive members of Mahasangh, President, Secretaries and other authorized representatives from various local Sanghs attended the conference and participated in discussions. There were representatives from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Indore, Raipur, Jaipur, Barmer, Jodhpur, Jalgaon and many other cities and villages. It was truly pan-Indian. The conference was blessed by PP acharya Sri Kailash Sagar Surishwar Ji Maharaj and other Khartar Gachh ascetics They discussed six major issues in six long sessions and have come to unanimous conclusions.

All these conclusions were announced by Sri Vimal Chand Surana, Amrit Manthan Sabha (Chintan Shivir) President before the house at the end of each session. These were endorsed by the house unanimously. All the conclusions were again announced at the valedictory session by the Shivir President.

Lalitprabh Chandraprabh Pravachan attract crowd of thousands

Large numbers of non-Jain spectators are also coming daily to listen them along with both Shwetambar and Digambar Jain audience.

All of the major daily newspapers are publishing their speeches with due importance. Local and state level TV channels are also covering them. Their speeches can change lives of many according to the spectators. Simplicity of both Sri Lalitprabh Sagar Ji, Chandraprabh Sagar Ji  also attracts people.
