Jaipur- Malpura march demanding Railway


 Shri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized foot march from Jaipur to Malpura demanding demanding Railway in Malpura. 150 people marched for four days. Brijkishor Sharma, education and religious affairs minister, Government of Rajasthan, shown green flag at Vichakshan Smriti Bhawan to start the march at 7.30 AM, March 22.  Shri Jain Swetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur felicitated all the walkers before the march.

Political leaders likes of Kailash Bhansali, MLA, Jodhpur, Ravindra Singh Bohra, MLA, Dholpur, Kalicharan Sarraf, MLA Jaipur, Sunil Kothari, State secretary, Rajsthan BJP, Bhagwat Kochar, general secretary, Jaipur congress party, Nirmal Nahata, corporator, Jaipur were also present in the ceremony along with prominent dignitories such as Kushal Chand Surana, Vimal Chand Surana, Prakash Lodha and Sangh President Manak Chand Golechha.

Jyoti Kothari, secretary, Khartar gachchh Sangh told that he met Pavan Bansal, Railway Minister on January 19 and demanded Railway in Malpura.  He, after this had a meeting with Namo Narain Meena, Union minister of state, finance representing the same. He also talked to Adhir Choudhury, Railway state minister and wrote to Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister, Rajasthan. He added that the central government has announced Ajmer-Tonk- Sawai Madhopur railway line. However, central government would pay only 50% of the cost. He urged state government to declare their share of fifty percent.

Brijkishor Sharma, minister Rajasthan told that he would inform the message to Hon'ble Chief Minister. He also told that he would do his best for the Jain pilgrimage center Malpura.  It is worth noted that Malpura in Rajsthan district Tonk is famous for Jin Kushal Suri Dadabadi.

All the walkers then proceeded to Sanganer Dadabadi where Dadagurudev Pooja was organized. Mohanlal Gupta, MLA Jaipur and Chandraj Singhvi, National secretary, JD(U) were present there.

The march reached Malpura on 25th night via Rainwal, Harsulia, Fagi, Nimeda, Chosla and Diggi. There was warm welcome   by local people and political leaders of Malpura at Vyas Chowk, main square at Malpura. The walkers then moved to Malpura Dadabadi, their final destination.

Khartar Sangh also organized a rally from Malpura Dadabadi to SDM office via Gandhi park. Large numbers of local people attended the rally. Jyoti Kothari handed over memorandum to Malpura SDM. The three fold demand was addressed to Pavan Bansal, Ashok Gehlot and Namo Narain Meena.

 Main demands:
1. Include Malpura in proposed Ajmer-Tonk- Sawai Madhopur railway line.
2. State government of Rajasthan announce their share in the proposed railway.
3. Start railway between Jaipur and Malpura.
