Condolence of Sadhvi Praguna Sri at Vichakshan Bhawan

Khartar Sangh  Felicitate Mundane body  of Sadhvi  Praguna Sri 

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur organized condolence (Gunanuvad Sabha) of Sadhvi Sri Praguna Sri Ji at Vichakshan Bhawan on June 17, 2013 at 10 AM.Sadhvi Sri Praguna Sri Ji  had left for her heavenly abode on June 15 in a road accident at Babla, Haryana near Gurgaon. She was walking from Malpura to Delhi where she would have to observe her Chaturmas. Sadhvi Sri Praguna Sri Ji  was accompanied by her pupil Sadhvi Sri Prerna Sri Ji. It is a matter of pleasure that she is safe and sent back to Malpura to live with Sadhvi Sri Chandrakala Sri Ji.

Jyoti Kothari, Secretary, Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipurtold that Sadhvi Sri Praguna Sri Ji initiated in 1982 at Gadhsivana, Rajasthan to become a Jain nun and was declared pupil of Sadhvi Sri Sudarshana sri Ji. She lived with her, studied Jainism and observed several Chaturmas. He informed the spectators details of accident that proved fatal for the Jain nun while paying homage on behalf of the Sangh. He also added that Khartar Sangh organized her funeral and funeral procession on June 16 evening.

Local Legislative member Sri Ashok Parnami, MLA, Chandraprakash Singhi, Mlviyanagar; Sri Nemkumar Jain, Secretary Multan Jain Sangh; Sri Manak Kala, Convener, Sri Tarunsagar Chaturmas Samiti; Sri Mahendra Singhi, secretary, Shyamnagar Sangh etc also paid homage to late Sadhvi.

Stone laid in Rishabhdev Adinath Katla Mandir

Stone laid in Rishabhdev Adinath Katla Mandir yesterday May 12, 2013. Sri Rishabhdev Adinath temple commonly known as Katla Mandir is an old temple in Agra road, Jaipur. The temple was a Ghar dehrasar built by Deewan Nathmalji Golechha family in Samvat 1999.

Pravartini Sadhvi Sri Sajjan Sri ji, a housewife of the family initiated (Deeksha) and the temple was established on the same day. Golechha family donated this temple to Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur later on. Since then Khartar Sangh is managing this temple.

Sadhwi Sri Shashiprabha Sri Ji, pupil of late Sajjan Sriji wanted a grand temple and Dadabadi in place of a Ghar Dehrasar to pay homage to her Guruni Ji. She motivated Sri Narendra Golechha of the same family who agreed to build a new gorgeous temple there.  Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur gladly permitted to the wish and Bhoomi Poojan of the same took place on April 26, 2013.

Yesterday, on May 12, 2013 Shilanyas (Laying stone) was performed in the auspices of Khartar monk Sri Maitriprabh Sagar ji, Nun sri Shashiprabha sri Ji and Suyasha sri ji et al.

Sona Chand Baid, Azimganj laid the main stone along with her wife. Khartar Sangh felicitated him with rajasthani turban. Manak Chand Golechh, President, Khartar Sangh, Jyoti Kothari, secretary, Rajendra Bhansali, Cultural secretary, Kushal Chand Surana, former President and Navratanmal Shrishrimal, former secretary were present among dignitaries.

AGM passed Jain Research Center and University proposal

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur have passed proposal to start a  Jain Research Center and University  in their AGM, Annual general meeting held at Shivjiram Bhawan on December 23, 2012. Jyoti Kothari, secretary of the Sangh proposed the project in details. The proposal was discussed thoroughly in the meeting.

Secretary of the Khartar Sangh told that they had been working on the project since last two years and discussed it with experts from different walks of life. He informed that there is a good support to the educational project from reverend monks and nuns, statesmen, academicians and educationists and from common people at large.He added that there is no Jain University presently run by Shwetambart Jain community.

Large numbers of members present in the annual general meeting discussed the issue in details and finally passed it unanimously. It has been decided that the Sangh will strengthen present Jain research center and start working on establishing a Jain university.

A seven members standing committee is formed to look after the affairs of the project. This committee will be of permanent nature.  Names of the seven members of the committee are as follows:

3. Dr. Sagarmal Jain, Eminent Jain Scholar
4. Sri M L Mehta, former Chief secretary, Rajasthan

The AGM has decided several routine issues such as passing the annual budget 2013-14, approving audited incime and expenditure account and balance sheet for year 2011-12, appointing auditor for the year 2013-14 etc.

Panchanhika Mahotsav to remember Sadhvi Sudarshana Sri

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh has been organizing Panchanhika Mahotsav (Fivedays celebration) to remember PP Sadhvi Sri Sudarshana Sri ji Maharaj. Sadhvi Sri Sudarshana Sri left for her heavenly abode recently in Jaipur.

There are five Poojas in five days starting from April 26 to 30. There was "Ratna Trayee Pooja" at Vichakshan Samadhi at Mohanbadi, today morning. Sri Kushalchand Vimalchand Surana family sponsored the event.
Navpad Pooja will be performed tomorrow, April 27 at Sri Suparshwanath Panchayati mandir, Johri Bazar.
There will be Parshwanath Panch Kalyanak Pooja at Dadabadi, Moti Doongri road on 28th morning and Mahavir Swami Pooja at Sri Mahavir Swami temple, Multan Mandir, Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur on 29th.

Dadagurudev Poojan will be performed at Malpura Dadabadi on 30th, the last day of Panchanhika Mahotsav. The event is going on under the auspieces of Sadhvi Sri Nirmnala Sri and sadhvi Sri Suyasha sri etc in Jaipur and Sadhvi Sri Chandrakala Sri and Sulochana sri at Malpura.
